Area Director of Operations - Midwest
The Area Director of Operations Support is an integral part of the National HME team responsible for supporting the operations within their defined area within a region. The Area Director of Operations is responsible for being a cross-functional business partner that is comfortable working between branches and with the Regional Director to ensure consistency in business practices. This position will report directly to the Regional Director of Operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:
- Performs and completes competency assessments for all job functions for all the positions managed.
- Reviews emergency procedure policy with management team and documents accordingly annually.
- Reviews HIPPA procedures annually with management team and documents accordingly annually.
- Compiles all reports and collects data from completed monthly operating reports and reviews for accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Implement and complete scheduled quarterly Audits for each assigned location and submits to leadership as directed.
- Maintain relationships with hospice partners that are assigned through Account management team, and consistently document and report all communications.
- Implements programs that meet corporate goals and objectives.
- Creates the structure and processes necessary to manage the organization's current activities and its projected growth.
- Develops and installs procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow within the organization.
- Ensures that all organizational activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
- Reviews overtime per location to determine appropriate operating efficiency.
- Able to train Lead Service Technician, Warehouse Manager, and Branch Operations Manager.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree preferrable but may be substituted for relevant experience.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule when needed including nights and weekends. This includes an ability to travel for extended periods.
