Fleet Manager
At National HME our Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and efficiency of our company’s vehicle fleet. This role requires a combination of technical, logistical, and managerial skills to ensure vehicles are operated efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION :
- Manage the fleet program including the procurement recommendations, utilization, operation, repair, fueling, maintenance, and disposition of all trucks / vans and vehicle-related equipment.
- Participate in NHME’s safety programs to help drive the safety culture across all locations.
- Manage the vehicle tracking, titling, registration, and renewal process to ensure uninterrupted utilization.
- Ensure proper use of the Spireon system to assign and monitor vehicles.
- Monitor routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, city and state inspections, and registrations) through vehicle maintenance partner.
- DOT Compliance.
- Obtain estimates, coordinate repairs and maintenance of fleet vehicles and equipment, ensuring that the fleet of vehicles are always available.
- Provide repair documentation on company vehicles involved in accidents.
- Issue and monitor fuel card usage.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
