WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

SUMMARY
The role of Director of Ticket Operations will collaborate with the Vice President of Ticket Operations in the successful planning and execution of ticketing for the League’s Special Events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
The position of Director of Ticket Operations is responsible for but not limited to the following:
  • Direct liaison with venues, member clubs, and Ticketmaster
  • Prepare and assist in venue scaling with our Strategy & Analytics team 
  • Financial reconciliation of ticket sales and maintenance of all auditing procedures
  • Produce accurate reporting upon request
  • Implementing Ticket sales plan with internal groups
  • Execute events in non-traditional environments
  • Work cohesively with internal groups such as Event Operations, Broadcasting and Entertainment as it relates to their impact on ticket manifests
  • Oversee box office operations on event day
  • Processing of all internal ticket requests
  • Provide superior customer service to ticket patrons and other stakeholders
  • Ticket Inventory management
  • Maintain a high level of working knowledge of ticketing industry best practices
  • Develop support staff
  • Frequent travel

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge Areas/Experience
Required
  • The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in a similar ticketing environment
  • The ideal candidate will have a required minimum experience of 5 years in Ticketmaster environment. Specifically, proficient in Archtics, Ticketmaster Host, AccouintManager, CMS Tools, TM One and Pricemaster
  • This position requires a logical thinker, someone able to work through unfamiliar and unique situations as well as display the discipline required for attention to detail, procedures and accuracy

 Education/Certifications
  • At minimum, a degree from a four-year college or university

  • Superior interpersonal skills as it relates to co-workers and customers alike
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude and workflow
  • The ability to work extended hours and/or weekends and travel is essential
  • Strong competencies in planning, project management, leadership, and organization
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel skills required

SALARY RANGE:
 $115-125K
 
Actual base pay for a successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to: experience/training, market demands, and geographic location.
