The Job
We seek personnel to assist with track prep, various areas of the staging lanes, and on the drag strip (ready line, water box, and start line) at race events during the season (March-November). During oval events, this may include assisting with pit traffic and inspections on competition vehicles. There is potential to be asked to operate a tractor or ATV. This entails weekday, evenings, and weekend work which can include long and irregular hours (12-14 ) outside in potentially extreme weather, and in a fast-paced environment.
*Note: US Nationals is Labor Day weekend and is a required workday.

FLSA/Salary: Hourly / Seasonal / $15.00/hr.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be flexible with meal periods.
- Must be able to enforce all facility policies and procedures, including start line policies, to ensure a safe environment for all guests.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, run, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under NHRA insurance policy.
- A general knowledge of racing is preferred.
- Must arrive on time and ready to work at shift start.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, racers, crew members, and guests.
- Must be able to handle sounds at a high volume.
