As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will gain valuable experience working with various independent business units while playing a pivotal role in streamlining critical accounting operations.
About the Role
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager will work closely with a variety of people, including corporate accounting, local accounting teams, business leadership, and external customers and service providers.
The main responsibilities of the position include :
- Guide the day-to-day Accounts Receivable Operations in our various locations and support the local accounting teams, enabling them to achieve company targets and objectives.
- Manage the billing for multiple different revenue streams incl. Project Billing, Maintenance Contract Billing, and Service Billing, ensuring correct revenue recognition and month-end cutoff.
- Maintain and improve upon AR related KPIs, monthly KPI reporting, and utilize KPIs to drive improvements of working capital performance.
- Support the Corporate Accounting Team with AR related month-end activity and reporting as required.
- Support the local accounting teams with collection efforts as needed, suggest and implement improvements to the local processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in terms of efficiency, consistency, and accuracy across all AR functions, implementing new tools and best practices where needed.
- Become a knowledge leader and key user in the ERP system as it relates to the AR and related Accounting modules.
- Manage a team of (2) AR Analysts.
