We are seeking a motivated individual to fill our in-person entry level role of IT Support Specialist who will complete a broad range of IT tasks throughout our healthcare organization. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems across all RHC locations, enabling our staff to provide the best possible care to our patients. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, offering support and solutions that keep our digital infrastructure running effectively. You will also be required to travel between the various locations to troubleshoot, maintain, and set up computers and equipment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide first-level IT support to users, both on-site and remotely from our main office.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting on all IT hardware and software.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of user issues and the actions taken to resolve them using our ticketing system.
- Asset Management: Tag and Record info on equipment into our system.
- Project Assistance: Support the IT team in the deployment of new IT projects and systems, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Assist with Printing and Scanning issues
- Deploy and Support Credit Card Machines
- Support users with issues pertaining to our EMR and Hospital systems
- Install Hardware and Software as needed
- Troubleshoot networking issues
- Deploy, support, and maintain our VoIP Phone system
- Unbox and set up new equipment.
- Clean and maintain IT workspace
Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma
- CompTIA A or Equivalent (Preferred)
- Skills: Fundamental understanding of computer systems, networking, and other technology with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose most issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.
- Work Ethic: Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience: Prior experience in an IT support role is beneficial but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs
- Valid Drivers license and reliable transportation
- Passing the background check & mandatory drug screening
