The desired candidate will provide critical support to the legal and investor relations functions. Specifically, the Corporate Paralegal (TEMP) shall:
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including senior leadership.
- Enhance record-keeping for client and vendor contracts, including but not limited to:
- Documenting within Excel and/or Smartsheet.
- Transferring into Cobblestone and Tandem systems.
- Drafting and mailing notices.
- Assist with maintaining standard form contracts with clients, vendors, and other third parties.
- Maintain corporate legal files and original documents.
- Provide administrative support for the annual Proxy, including preparing the draft, individual proxy ballots, and related mailing, while tabulating and managing received votes.
- Conduct legal research and drafting as needed.
- Support special projects as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with BSA/AML/OFAC-related laws and regulations applicable to this position, including completing required training.
- One (1) years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm required; three (3) years preferred.
- Associate degree or certificate in paralegal studies recommended.
- Proven ability to solve problems, with strong strategic and conceptual skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail paired with excellent analytical and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey strategies and tactics to various stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to interact productively with colleagues and management.
- Discretion and strict adherence to maintaining proprietary and confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
