Responsibilities for Internal Candidates
Essential Job Duties
- Responsible for drafting representation agreements for clients and cooperating broker agreements for all states.
- Responsible for operation of client contract database. Including but not limited to, entering data, running data reports, maintaining updates to the database.
- Conduct research of applicable state regulatory and licensing requirements relative to brokerage activities.
- Initiate inquiries directly with Brokers of Record regarding licensing, regulatory compliance, fee arrangements and qualifications various states.
- Respond to questions from field personnel and Business Operations Managers regarding state specific licensing matters as regards representation agreements.
- Conduct due diligence research in connection with ongoing transactions.
- Track agreements and receipt and execution of contracts; prepare quarterly report.
- Conduct legal research as required by attorneys.
- Provide other corporate and transactional support.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience.
- Paralegal certificate from ABA-approved program.
- CEP Level I.
- 3 years corporate paralegal experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and its applications.
- Ability to handle confidential Company/Team information.
- Self-directed, well organized, detail-oriented, highly accurate, excellent communication and customer service skills.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
