Redevelopment Paralegal

Note: This is an on-site position and requires employees to be on-site 5 days a week at the Roseland, NJ office.

Job Description

• Provide legal and administrative support to attorneys in the redevelopment practice.
• Draft, review, and maintain redevelopment agreements, ensuring compliance with deadlines and legal requirements.
• Prepare resolutions and other legal documents related to redevelopment projects.
• Manage escrow accounts, tracking deposits, disbursements, and financial compliance.
• Conduct legal research on redevelopment laws, municipal regulations, and land use policies.
• Coordinate with attorneys, developers, municipal agencies, and financial institutions to facilitate agreements and transactions.
• Monitor key deadlines, payment schedules, and project compliance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Paralegal Certificate or 4 years of experience as a paralegal.
• Experience managing legal agreements, deadlines, and escrow accounts is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
