Manager (Human Resource), Judicial Service Commission Secretariat (1-year contract)
What you will be working on :
The Judicial Service Commission (“JSC”) is the appointing authority for all Judicial Service Officers (“JSO”) in the Singapore Judicial Service. The Commission has jurisdiction over all JSOs in the Singapore Judicial Service and has the following functions and powers over these officers : appointment, confirmation, emplacement on the permanent establishment, promotion, transfer, disciplinary control and dismissal. The JSC Secretariat supports the functions of the JSC and the Chief Justice / President, JSC and the Special Personnel Board of the Judicial Service. We are the human resource policy arm for the Singapore Judicial Service. The functions we are responsible for include recruitment, career and talent development, succession planning, performance management, compensation and benefits, discipline and exit management. We work closely with the SG Courts where JSOs are deployed. We invite interested candidates to apply for the following position.
Responsibilities :
You will support the team and implement HR policies and strategies. Your responsibilities may include one or more of the following areas :
- Recruitment (including formulation, review and implementation of strategies for selection and outreach / green harvesting programmes);
- Performance management (including formulation, review and implementation of strategies for annual ranking & promotion exercises);
- Career development (including formulation, review and implementation of career counselling, talent development and succession planning initiatives);
- Data analytics (including reviewing and identifying ways to improve data usage, data quality and data management).

Successful candidates will be appointed on a one-year contract. Remuneration package will be commensurate with experience.
