Our Rewrite Specialists deliver a superior customer experience to the distribution channels—agent or agencies—by ensuring after issue changes for life insurance and annuity products are processed accurately and in a timely manner. You will delight our customers by thoroughly researching and executing policy changes and collaborating with those internally and externally to achieve a successful end result for National Life, our agents/agencies, and our clients. Ultimately, you will be an active and engaged member of a team dedicated to bringing peace of mind to all we serve.
A typical day finds the Rewrite Specialist processing in workflow management systems, collaborating with the team, supporting departments internally, and communicating with the agent/agency via phone and email. You will be a liaison with the producing agent/agency throughout the life cycle of after issue policy changes. Developing solid working relationships, leveraging critical thinking skills, and effectively managing grey areas are essential requirements for this role, as requests do not always fit within a defined set of rules. Additional responsibilities include: ensuring quality transactions and accurate accounting through review, light processing, and reconciliation. Weekly monitoring, netting, and reconciling debits and credits to various accounts.

- You have 2 years of professional work experience interacting with customers
- You are passionate about working for a company with a cause-driven culture
- A college degree is not required, but it is preferred. Ultimately, we value high quality skills, experience and a winning attitude as much as an earned degree

The base compensation range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
Other rewards may include an annual bonus, quarterly bonuses, commissions, and other long-term incentive compensation, depending on the position.
