Your Role:
- Develop and implement social service programs tailored to the needs of our senior residents.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.
- Manage and mentor a team of social workers and support staff.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Advocate for residents' needs and rights, ensuring access to necessary resources and services.
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for social service programs.
- Facilitate educational workshops and support groups for residents and their families.
- Manages Social Services Department's performance improvement activities in accordance with NLCS standards and other regulatory agency requirements.
- Ensures compliance as required.
- Takes lead in developing Social Services department budgets
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work required, Master’s degree in Social Work preferred
- Licensed Social Worker by the state of assignment (Maryland or Virginia), LCSW-C preferred
- Five to ten years’ experience, preferably in a long-term care or senior health care environment
- Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Computer electronic medical record experience is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

Pay range: Based on experience, with final offer reflecting the candidate's demonstrated skills, relevant experience, and professional background.
