What You'll Do
As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial reports, budgets, and cost analyses
- Assisting with month-end closings and audits
- Providing outstanding support to team members on finance-related issues
- Training and mentoring direct reports as needed
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field is required
- At least three (3) years of experience in accounting is required, preferably in a senior living environment
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to prepare a cash flows statement as part of monthly reporting package
- Prior public accounting experience would be a plus
- Experience in budget projections, financial analysis, and reporting
- Ability to communicate at all levels, provide instruction and train other team members as required.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Previous experience supervising others is preferred
- Strong computer skills, to include Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and excel
