This is a remote paid internship available for Summer 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Strategy (55%)
- Support implementation of new Bike MS experience at select events in 2025.
- Assist with resource development and support of the entire series of 50 Bike MS rides across the country.
- Lead the work of developing a robust promotions team to help acquire new cyclists.
- Attend cross functional strategy meetings with Marketing, Corporate Engagement, and other departments to support Bike MS campaign.
- Sponsorship and Special Projects (30%)
- Identify and secure potential in-kind sponsors.
- Assist with sponsorship deliverables and in-kind donations.
- Conduct outreach to potential in-kind sponsors and community partners.
- Prepare sponsor pitch decks, observe external meetings where appropriate.
- Administrative & Data Support (15%)
- Draft bi-weekly Bike MS Update internal newsletter
- Assist with data entry projects, prize inventory management
- Create and manage internal surveys
- Gain insights into the inner workings of a non-profit organization.
- Enhance communication, marketing, and project management skills.
- Learn to use online databases and relationship management tools.
- Network with National MS Society colleagues and professionals.
- Currently pursuing a degree as a Junior or Senior in college or any year in graduate school.
- Open to all majors, with a preference for Hospitality Management, Event Management, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Non-Profit Management, or related fields.
- Ability to work 10–12 weeks, 15-20 hours/week.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Dependable, people-oriented, and comfortable with public speaking.
- Access to reliable internet.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
