What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Data Analytics (Remote) position at National PACE Association?
- This position does not manage people but is a manager of data analytics and works in collaboration with the data team to achieve the department’s work plan.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manager, Data Analytics, to join our team at the National PACE Association, an organization representing healthcare providers and related professionals. The ideal candidate will help us deliver actionable insights to our PACE organization members by identifying trends, generating reports, and offering recommendations to optimize performance, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, clean, and organize healthcare-related data from various sources (e.g., membership surveys, performance metrics, patient outcomes, financial reports).
- Develop and maintain dashboards
- Prepare and present detailed reports on healthcare performance metrics to inform decision-making.
Member Support & Insights:
- Collaborate with association members (PACE organizations) to understand their data needs and challenges, offering tailored data-driven solutions.
- Assist members with interpreting their data, including outcomes, operational performance, and market trends.
Database Management:
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the association’s internal database(s) and data systems.
- Develop and implement data quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of all datasets.
- Assist in the integration of new data sources to enhance analysis capabilities.
Data-Driven Strategy Development:
- Identify opportunities to leverage data analytics for improving member services, policy advocacy, and PACE program development.
Compliance & Security:
- Ensure data privacy and confidentiality protocols are followed, in compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare data regulations and assist the organization in maintaining compliance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of healthcare industry standards, metrics, and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, quality reporting).
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, healthcare professionals, and executive leadership.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Healthcare Informatics, Public Health, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting or with healthcare-related data
- Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems or other healthcare-related databases.
- Familiarity with healthcare quality improvement processes and value-based care metrics.
- Knowledge of predictive analytics and machine learning techniques applied to healthcare data.
Working Conditions
Flexible, fully remote work arrangement, including telework, offered; Small, fast paced team environment with moderate noise levels. Normal sitting and standing activities for an office environment. Use of phones and computers for extended periods of time. Utilize office equipment and communication technologies for conference calls and teleconference meetings/webinars.
