This experience includes activities such as: experience related to the operation of a museum or similar collection of valuable objects, registration, cataloging, research, preservation, restoration, or conservation of collections of museum material, activities such as unpacking, processing, and repacking museum objects; identifying and labeling objects for storage or display; cataloging objects into a museum database; preparing and organizing curatorial records; performing routine cleaning of museum objects per established standards; assisting with installation and rehabilitation of exhibits. You must include hours per week worked.

Duties
The major duties of the Museum Technician include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Identify, sort and classify museum objects and enter them into an NPS catalog program.
- Handle, clean, store and label objects in the permanent collection of multiple park units.
- Provide daily and cyclical cleaning and monitoring of artifacts in accordance with standard operating procedures, including public areas, exhibition spaces and artifact storage area.
- Maintains collection records and processes loan agreements for multiple collections.
