Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to loss prevention. The Security Guard will work closely with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary and will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to observe and report any irregularities.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
• Maintain detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary for incident resolution.
• Provide assistance in conflict management situations, ensuring the safety of all parties involved.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Certification in security-related fields is a plus (e.g., loss prevention, surveillance).
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and security protocols.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and law enforcement personnel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
