Location: Valley Cottage, NY (On-Site)
Compensation: The salary range for this position, based in Valley Cottage, NY, is $150,000 to $200,000 per year. The final salary will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment, candidate selection, and the onboarding process
- Managing a company’s candidate evaluation process
- Ensuring that the company’s procedures comply with employment regulations
- Monitoring various aspects of employee performance, such as attendance and sick leave
- Designing and implementing training programs based on assessed needs
- Handling any disciplinary processes and formal grievances
- Setting and reviewing pay structures and employee perks and benefits
- Maintaining employee benefits programs including annual health insurance renewals, competitive leveling and employee communication
- Manage HR employees
- Manage Staffing Agency/Recruiter relationships
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned
- Prepare FMLA paperwork as needed
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
- Maintain organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes
- Ensure the processing of new hires, temporary workers, promotions and terminations is accurate and timely
- 3-7 years in Human Resources
- Human Resources certification preferred
- Proven ability to recruit successfully using all major recruiting platforms – LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen and effectively verbalize ideas
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff
- A solid understanding of the key principles of employment law
- The ability to remain calm in stressful situations including during disciplinary hearings or staff conflicts
- Solid ethics and morals and sound judgment
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook/Word/Excel)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to maintain a positive, professional demeanor
- Possess strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Must be a team player
