The insurance Program our clients enjoy was built on ease-of-use, accommodating all occupancy phases of investment property (vacant, rental or undergoing renovation).
Position Objective: Creating visually stunning designs across a wide range of projects, including marketing materials, digital assets, advertising campaigns, branding, and more.

Essential Functions

Design Creation:
  • Create visually appealing designs for print and digital media, including brochures, banners, social media graphics, websites, advertisements, email templates, presentations, and other marketing collateral.
  • Develop and execute concepts from scratch, ensuring designs align with brand identity and objectives.

Production Art & File Preparation:
  • Prepare and format designs for various outputs (print, digital, web, large-format, etc.).
  • Ensure all files are production-ready, following technical specifications for printers, vendors, and digital platforms.
  • Perform image retouching, color correction, and layout adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain a well-organized library of design assets, templates, and brand guidelines.
  • Take and edit company headshots.

Brand Development & Consistency:
  • Ensure consistency in the application of brand guidelines across all design materials.
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of the company’s visual identity and brand assets, including logo design, color palettes, and typography.

Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with the marketing team, content writer, and other departments to understand project goals, target audience, and messaging that lead to visually compelling assets.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative ideas and campaigns.

Project Management & Delivery:
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Provide updates on project status and revisions as needed, collaborating effectively with stakeholders to meet their needs.

Quality Control & Revisions:
  • Review and proof designs to ensure accuracy and consistency before finalizing.
  • Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to make necessary revisions and improvements.

Stay Current with Design Trends:
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve the quality and innovation of designs.
  • Experiment with new design techniques, software, and technologies to enhance creative output.

Special design tasks (e.g. photo manipulation)

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and projects.
  • Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • Experience in both print and digital design (web, social media, email marketing, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across various materials.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
  • Ability to take feedback constructively and adapt designs accordingly.
  • Time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of print processes, file formats, color management (CMYK/RGB), and resolution standards.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with motion graphics or video editing (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email and web design, responsive design and web usability. Experience in WordPress is a plus.
  • Photography experience is a plus
