The Member Relations intern will support NRF's member relations team.
Essential Functions :
- Assist with improving and maintaining the data integrity of NRF accounts in our internal database
- This work will entail using outside resources (ex. company websites, LinkedIn, the SEC database, and major publications) to research and verify information before making changes in the NRF database
- Track key executive changes and related contact information in NRF’s membership database
- Maintain internal lists of retail executives in key functional areas (legal, technology, finance, etc.)
- Assist with the qualification / verification of incoming membership leads
- Research / verify the annual revenue of Industry Partner (non-retail) members, a key step in the membership renewal and invoicing process
- Work with the membership team to build targeted industry prospect lists, tracking relevant retail press and industry developments
- Build geographically based prospect lists to assist with planned outreach around upcoming NRF events and meetings
- Enter meeting notes from member company and prospect meetings, as needed
- Assist with internal memos for membership meetings, as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
