CFC has a need for a Senior Network Administrator to join the Business Technology Services team. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work at our headquarters office in Sterling, VA, as well as optional remote workdays. The Senior Network Administrator is responsible for monitoring and controlling changes to the operational environment, responding to events and incidents, and facilitating the transition of new services to production operations. This individual will analyze operational data and implement proactive steps to prevent incidents from occurring and will also be expected to be a part of an incident response team. They will also provide design and systems analysis support to development projects.
As a Senior Network Administrator, you will :
- Responsible for the analysis, selection, testing and design of information system and networking solutions.
- Responsible for system firmware and software upgrades and patches.
- Install / Uninstall system fixes as needed.
- Work directly with network and systems engineers providing physical support of systems as requested.
- Responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of monitoring, logging and reporting systems.
- Monitor operational incidents and events as part of response teams.
- Collect, analyze and report on operational metrics.
- Establish and document standards and procedures for management review
- Provide technical support to end users.
