Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced On-Call Site Safety Manager to join our team, providing Site Safety Services at various construction sites throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, site-specific safety requirements, and company safety policies, acting as a key safety liaison between the GC and project teams. This position is ideal for a safety professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to adapt to different construction environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Represent our company as the designated Site Safety Manager for the General Contractor, ensuring all safety requirements are met.
- Monitor and enforce OSHA regulations and site-specific safety policies.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for workers and subcontractors.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, providing detailed reports and corrective action recommendations.
- Collaborate with General Contractors, project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to promote a safe work environment.
- Maintain and submit accurate safety records, reports, and compliance documentation to both our company and the GC.
- Conduct site audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Implement and oversee emergency response plans, ensuring all personnel are familiar with safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with fall protection, confined space, electrical safety, and hazardous materials handling requirements.
