Job Title: Network Systems Manager
Location: Melbourne, FL (Onsite, not remote)
Shift: Mon to Fri from 8a to 5p
Pay: $85,000 to $100,000/yr (DOE)

- Must currently reside within a daily commutable distance to Melbourne, FL
- A minimum of 3 years experience leading teams managing networks and systems.
Network and Systems Administrator Manager will have the responsibility to ensure the stability, security, and integrity of the USSI Global’s data, voice, and wireless network infrastructure and services. This is achieved by planning, designing, implementing, securing, monitoring, and maintaining local and wide area networks and associated services across the globe. This position requires leading the IT team and will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues to ensure smooth operations. Monitoring system performance and implementing improvements are key aspects of this role, as is developing and maintaining documentation to ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations and security compliance. The position will also maintain, build and Manages projects, tasks, and priorities and provides leadership, training, and assistance to IT employees.
The position will require proficiency in Linux and Windows OS’s, networking technologies (BGP, RIP, OSPF) and virtualization (KVM), which is essential in configuring and maintaining systems to meet operational requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Experience with leading a small team of IT personnel
- Experience with Linux and Windows servers in physical and virtualized enterprise environments.
- Experience with networking technologies and enterprise switch management.
- Experience with Active Directory and multi-platform authentication/identification environments.
- Experience with virtualization technology (KVM, Hyper-V).
- Experience with virtual desktop infrastructure (GoGlobal, RDS).
- Experience with enterprise storage (SAN, NAS).
- Expert working knowledge, including the ability to setup, configure, upgrade, manage, and troubleshoot, Windows-based systems and services (i.e., SCCM, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
- Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, and remote access.
- Experience with LAN, WAN and WLAN design and implementation.
- Experience with network design, capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose specific problems with networks, computers, and associated equipment and software.
- Must be detail oriented and able to create and follow complicated instructions to install, configure and validate the environments
- Must be capable of troubleshooting components when unexpected results are encountered
- Must be able to utilize and create command line tools and scripts for automation, administration, data collection and reporting. This job requires the ability to create, test, debug, deploy, and maintain scripts and other automation tools.
- Must be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment and able to work with a range of engineers holding a diverse set of skills at differing levels of experience.
- Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands.
- Must be able to analyze real world problems and implement solutions according to IT guidelines and procedures, and industry best practices.
