Position Overview
National Therapy Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team on a PRN/1099 basis. This independent contractor position is ideal for a BCBA looking for flexible hours, with four part-time positions available. The BCBA will work on an as-needed basis to provide assessments, individualized treatment planning, supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and direct services to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on each client’s unique needs.
- Provide evidence-based interventions and oversee implementation of treatment plans.
- Supervise and support RBTs, ensuring adherence to BACB standards and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, session notes, and treatment modifications.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive client care.
- Adhere to National Therapy Center policies, BACB ethical guidelines, and HIPAA requirements.
Qualifications
- Active BCBA certification and licensure to practice in Maryland and/or Washington, DC.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), preferably with pediatric clients.
- Experience and commitment to supervising RBTs, adhering to BACB guidelines for supervision hours and quality standards.
- Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and behavioral intervention strategies.
- Ability to work independently, manage schedules effectively, and communicate efficiently.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and maintaining ethical standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to client care.
Contract Terms
- Hourly Rate: $90 - $100 per hour, depending on experience.
- This is a PRN/1099 independent contractor role; as such, the BCBA will have control over their schedule based on client needs and availability.
- Contractor is responsible for any personal business expenses, licensure, continuing education, and professional insurance.
- This position does not offer benefits, including health insurance or retirement contributions.
