Job Overview:
National Therapy Center seeks a dedicated and compassionate Full-time Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to pediatric clients, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position involves a mix of on-site services at schools or daycares and clinic-based clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document client progress.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team.
- Family Education: Educate and support families in the therapy process.
- Compliance: Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards.
- Professional Development: Stay current with advances in pediatric speech therapy.
· Travel: Must have the flexibility to travel to any of our locations to perform SLP related tasks.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Washington, DC, and Maryland.
- Experience with AAC devices and techniques.
- Experience working with children with ASD and feeding difficulties.
- Early intervention experience is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Sitting: Approximately 4-5 hours/day.
- Walking: Around 2-3 hours/day.
- Bending and Lifting: Frequently required, must lift up to 30 pounds.
- Crawling: Occasionally required.

Salary : $75,000 - $87,000
