SUMMARY
Timely processing of vendor invoices and special projects. Reports to the Cash Management Supervisor and/or Manager. Maintains internal contacts with Supply Chain Management, Warehousing and external contacts with suppliers .
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES Review and process supplier invoices for completeness, accuracy and proper authorization. Answer supplier /buyer inquires on a daily basis. Resolve supplier/Supply Chain Management/Warehousing invoice related problems. Analyze the AP Error/Exception Report and make timely corrections/resolutions. File and open mail on a daily basis. Must be able to work holidays, weekends and overtime, if needed. Assist with Special Projects (i.e. Sales Tax). Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent, with experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance environment. Knowledge of the Accounts Payable system. Knowledge of bookkeeping and general accounting procedures. Computer literate with data input accuracy. Good communications skills and a team player Actively participates in implementing and monitoring continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, improve quality, reduce cycle time and reduce costs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, controls, and to talk and hear. Must be physically able to walk to all yard locations. The noise level in this environment is usually moderate. Observe and support GD NASSCO health, safety and environmental policy.

PAY SCALE
$53,600 - $69,800
This pay range is a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. It takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and education.
