Now Hiring: Full-Time Recruitment Coordinator / Backup Receptionist
Location: Offices throughout Washington, DC, and Montgomery County, MD
Schedule: Hybrid (in-office and remote); hybrid schedule begins after 60-day probation
Compensation: $20-$23 per hour
About the Role: This hybrid role combines hands-on recruiting coordination with front-office coverage as a Backup Receptionist. You'll be the heartbeat of our hiring operations top talent, creating an outstanding candidate experience and supporting our offices with poise and professionalism.
What You'll Do:
Recruitment & HR Coordination
- Initial Interview Screenings: Conduct engaging, effective candidate screenings
- Final Interviews: Stand in for the Director of HR during final interviews when needed
- Orientation: Lead and support new hire orientation to set employees up for success
- Sourcing: Proactively seek out talent via job boards, social media, career fairs, and outreach
- Communication: Maintain regular contact with candidates, keeping them informed and engaged
- Scheduling: Coordinate interviews across formats-phone, video, and onsite
- Logistics: Arrange travel and accommodations for candidates as needed
- Paperwork: Organize resumes, applications, offer letters, and onboarding documents
- Tracking: Use our applicant tracking system (ATS) to streamline and monitor recruitment workflows
- Job Posting: Draft compelling job ads and distribute them across multiple platforms
- Data Management: Keep candidate records accurate and up-to-date
- Onboarding Support: Partner with HR to ensure a smooth, welcoming start for every new team member
Administrative & Receptionist Support
- Provide backup front desk coverage, including answering phones, greeting guests, scheduling clients, and mail management.
- Maintain a polished, friendly office environment across all NTC locations
Event & Outreach Involvement
- Represent NTC at job fairs, hiring events, and outreach initiatives to attract talent and promote our mission.
Team Collaboration & Compliance
- Partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR leadership to support staffing goals
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and employment laws
- Deliver a high-quality candidate experience that reflects NTC's values and culture
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma required; Associate's degree or higher strongly preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, HR support, or healthcare administration preferred
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to all office locations (MD & DC)
- Being bilingual in Spanish or another language is a plus
- Familiarity with iSolved or other HRIS/ATS platforms is strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with technology and systems
- Organized, proactive, people-oriented, and flexible

Schedule & Work Environment
- In-office presence is required three days a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) at multiple office locations.
