What You'll Do:
The Admissions Advisor is a sales position at National Trade Institute. This person provides admissions information to prospective students, creates communication materials, and represents the school as a whole. This position reports to the leadership.
The Day-to-Day:
- Communicate with prospective students through appointments, telephone, emails, and other means.
- Welcomes prospective students by interviewing applicants and enrolling students in the program of their choice.
- Adheres to all compliance and regulatory standards.
- Maintain and develop professional interaction with a wide range of diverse individuals.
- Advises students regarding educational opportunities and and other requirements, policies, and procedures as appropriate.
- Assists each lead and/or inquiry to our institution in an honest and caring manner.
- Conducts effective phone presentations and interviews and follow-ups with each candidate.
- Works to Increase percentage of enrollments and starts from leads through training, experience, and diligence of prospective student
- Follow-ups with the prospect through correspondence and phone conversations to aid in the completion of the enrollment process.
- Works to maintain the integrity of the student database (admissions to permanent records) in order to ensure complete accuracy for local records, as well as state, and federal reporting.
- Performs outreach efforts to find and identify potential students.

- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in higher education admissions; sales, consumer marketing, call centers, and/or personnel recruitment experience helpful
- High degree of professionalism and discretion with the ability to deal with confidential information.
