Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement effective financial strategies to support the organization's mission and goals.
• Collaborate with the CEO and Board of Directors to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the organization's mission.
• Provide regular financial reports to the Board of Directors and ensure accurate and timely compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the organization's assets and reputation.
• Ensure accurate and timely tax filings and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a nonprofit organization.
• Proven track record of successful financial management, including experience developing and implementing financial strategies, managing budgets, and overseeing financial reporting and compliance.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience building and leading high-performing teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Passion for the mission and work of the organization.
• Will require occasional travel.
