What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Accounts Coordinator position at National University College?
Summary:
Reporting to the VP of Student Affairs, the Regional Student Accounts Officer is responsible for providing support to the institutions specifically on cash (agency) collections, billing, and ledger activities. This involves communication to students and responsible parties, interaction with other departments such as Registrar’s Office, and other areas of campuses. S/he will ensure the integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of student records while remaining compliant with all state, federal and accreditation regulations.
Minimum requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Business or related fields.
- Strong Computer Skills and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong oral, analytical and written communication skills required.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Student Ledger Card activity: Registration Billing, Fee Billing, Posting Adjustments
- Review Monthly Revenue Exceptions
- Actively monitor Tuition Option accounts. Compare to internal database information. Ensure plans are within company guidelines.
- Perform collection activities.
- May be performing activities in E-Requestor
- May be assisting with vendor invoices & communications
- Provide timely support to internal and external customers.
- Work as a team member with the FTC, FTC CE & DAVE EDs
