Director of Marketing – Physician Liaison Management
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for overseeing and managing all Physician Liaisons across the organization , driving the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives designed to enhance business growth and build strong relationships within the medical community. This leadership role requires a combination of strategic thinking, hands-on involvement, and the ability to mentor and guide a team of Physician Liaisons to meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Management
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Physician Liaisons, ensuring the effective execution of their roles and responsibilities.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the Physician Liaison team.
- Establish clear performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team accountability and success.
Strategic Marketing and Business Development
- Design and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote the company’s medical services and increase referral volumes.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify market opportunities, analyze trends, and prioritize key growth initiatives.
- Create scalable processes for field marketing campaigns and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Relationship Management
- Serve as the key point of contact for high-level relationships with referring physicians, healthcare organizations, and community leaders.
- Work with the Physician Liaisons to develop and maintain strong, long-term partnerships that drive referral growth and foster collaboration.
- Regularly meet with key stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction with the company’s services.
Marketing and Communication Oversight
- Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and compliance with medical regulations.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to align social media, email campaigns, and online initiatives with field marketing efforts.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to keep the company competitive and innovative.
Reporting and Analytics
- Analyze and report on the performance of field marketing initiatives and Physician Liaison activities, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Ensure the accurate documentation of leads, referral sources, and campaign outcomes in CRM systems or other tools.
- Prepare and present regular updates on the status of marketing and relationship management efforts.
Compliance and Industry Standards
- Ensure all marketing activities and Physician Liaison efforts comply with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Maintain a deep understanding of services offered by the company and stay informed about advancements in the medical field.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, healthcare administration, business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in healthcare marketing, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role managing teams.
- Skills:
- Proven track record of developing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
