Summary
As a Field Service Technician at National Link, Inc., you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing ATM equipment to ensure optimal performance.
The right candidate will drive to our customers (small businesses- liquor stores, gas stations, retail outlets, etc.) using our company provided vehicle and responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing our ATM Machines. Part of the position will also be assisting Cash Management techs as needed.
What your day will look like:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of ATM equipment at customer locations. Typically, 4-5 onsite visits a day for field service repair or 6-8 onsite visits for cash replenishments
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand equipment functionality.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while working on low voltage systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service during on-site visits to foster positive relationships.
- Document service activities accurately for reporting and tracking purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery processes.
- Re-supplying replenishing, retrieving deposits, and monetary balancing the machine
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to ATMs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in field service or technical support roles, preferably with ATM or similar equipment.
- Clean Driving Record is required.
- Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and networking principles.
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills required, ability to listen, anticipate and resolve customer needs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to maintenance tasks.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience with equipment repair techniques is essential.
What will make you stand out:
- Ability to count, add, subtract and balance columns of numbers
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Experience as a driver and/or security guard is a plus
- Security experience a plus
Physical Demands and Requirements:
- Ability to repeatedly perform heavy lifting and carrying items by hand
- Ability to push/pull dollies/carts loaded with cargo weighing up to several hundred pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, and turn
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older and have as a licensed driver.
