Outside Sales Professional
POSITION OVERVIEW
As the reliability of electrical infrastructure becomes more critical for industries including advanced science, government, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution and data center development, Nationwide Electric continues to develop a product offering that supports
our clients’ needs throughout the mid-Atlantic and beyond. We offer our clients at least one option in the following critical power categories :
- Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
- Power Distribution Units (PDU)
- Remote Power Panels (RPP) to
- LV & MV Switchgear
- LV & MV Transformers
- UL 891 & UL 67 Panels
- Generators & Associated Switching
This position requires advanced electrical distribution and related educational technical experience. It is responsible for finding and nurturing new customer accounts and expanding sales with existing clients within each of these industries.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Preferred : Advanced electrical distribution and related educational technical experience; advanced sales and sales prospecting techniques; competence with CRM software; tenacity & thorough follow-up; self-motivated and driven; competence with office software such as Quickbooks, Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), PDF software; knowledge and use of all general office machinery.
EDUCATION
Preferred : Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business management; advanced sales and relationship-building training and experience; five years of sales experience in the electrical distribution or construction industry.
WORK HOURS :
8 am to 5 pm Monday thru Friday
After-hours networking and client events should be expected.

COMPENSATION
The Outside Sales position will be entirely commission based with details on the structure being discussed with serious candidates.

PAID TIME OFF (PTO)
Employees receive 15 days of PTO annually that will be used towards vacation, sick leave, bereavement and any other excused absence from our standard work weeks. In addition, Nationwide Electric Supply recognizes all major national holidays equating to an additional 8 days.
