This position will serve our Edward Jones clients as a Divisional Sales Manager for our Retirement Solutions team. Previous experience working with Edward Jones is strongly preferred.
This role can be located anywhere in the US near a major metropolitan airport, but closer proximity to St. Louis, MO is desired.

As a Divisional Sales Manager, we'll count on you to plan, develop, implement and manage a sales program to distribute employer sponsored retirement plans in the emerging market and other related financial service products through a team of wholesalers within the Nationwide Workplace Solutions Sales Division.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
Leads profitable sales growth through consistent coaching interactions with each wholesaler.
Joins forces with sales team and leadership to implement and monitor new sales and distribution strategies.
Maintains relationships with key distribution partners throughout the division, e.g., third-party administrators and mutual fund partners.
Partners with business units to expand distribution partnerships, grow sales and retain existing business.
Coordinates and participates in large plan acquisition process.
Provides input on territory structure, wholesaler compensation, internal sales support and advisor communication.
Collaborates with business unit partners to retain plan sponsor clients and selling advisors; expanding the growth in reoccurring deposits and AUM.
Leads a culture of compliance and adherence to all company policies.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships : Reports to VP, Private Sector RP
Typical Skills and Experiences :
Education : Undergraduate studies. Technical insurance coursework preferred.
License / Certification / Designation : Series 6 / 7, 65 / 66, 24 / 26 and 63.
Experience : Proven sales leadership skills and five years of successful wholesaling experience of financial services through broker dealer and registered investment advisory firms.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills : A thorough knowledge of the retirement plan industry, investments, SEC, IRS and other regulatory governing bodies.Proven ability to successful apply principles of sales, marketing and general management to address most complex sales management problems and opportunities.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and HR Business Partner.
