- Lockout Tag-Out (LOTO) on all work performed.
- Perform Maintenance responsibilities.
- Ensures operation of electrical systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on plant equipment, programmable controllers, transformers, voltage regulators, and machinery wiring; following electrical code, manuals, schematic drawings, and other specifications.
- Installs new equipment to the manufacturer’s specifications. This could include, but not limited to, installing power supply wiring and conduit to and between machines and equipment.
- Repairs electrical systems and equipment by diagnosing malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures; determining faulty wiring; inspecting and testing malfunctioning machinery.
- Programs automated machinery by operating, testing for malfunctions, and verifying repairs to and programmable controllers and end devices.
- Monitor and fulfill work orders in an efficient and timely manner.
- Prioritize tasks as necessary and respond to RUSH maintenance requests.
- Help control downtime by informing production workers of routine electrical preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.
- Work with, and train other Maintenance Personnel.
- Ability to work with vendors and other outside contacts, to gather information needed to maintain and repair equipment.
- Assist to maintain electrical spare parts inventory levels.
Builds / Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.
