Seeking a Production Manager for a semiconductor manufacturing company serving the military and aerospace industry.
The ideal candidate has 5 years supervisory or managing experience overseeing production operations in high “labor hands-on” environment. Ideally, within an electronics manufacturing or semiconductor environment and processes.
What you will do :
- Manage production for on-time delivery, revenue, and profitability, while meeting quality and safety requirements.
- Responsible for achieving department goals such as revenue / shipment, operator productivity, product quality, safety requirements or any other department goals.
- Manage Operator production activities, provide direction and support for all work shifts, establish work schedules and assignments and, when necessary, work through other supervisors or managers.
- Manage material planning, expediting, incoming, material deficiencies, etc., all as necessary to achieve department goals, while interacting and supporting other departments involved in this process.
- Support all company system and quality requirements that drive cost saving initiatives, efficiency gains, process improvements, labor utilization, and improvements in quality and yield rates.
- Work with sales department and business development personnel for any sales requirements like pricing, delivery scheduling, device development, etc. all while achieving a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Interact with engineering and support personnel for product development and product documentation such as BOM’s, Routers, Engineering changes, etc. in a positive and supportive manner.
- Address employee concerns, resolve problems, train, coach and discipline employees and make recommendations for hiring and firing.
