Service Technician - Trailers

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trailer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in the maintenance and repair of trailers. This role involves working with various components, including air brakes, hydraulics, and tire services, ensuring that all trailers are in optimal working condition.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, including brake repair and tire service.
• Assemble and align trailer components according to specifications.
• Utilize schematics to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
• Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify problems and implement solutions.
• Maintain hydraulic systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Experience

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in trailer maintenance or a related field.
• Familiarity with air brake systems and their components.
• Experience in assembling, aligning, and maintaining trailer parts.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems is preferred.
• Previous experience in automotive diagnostics is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
