Summary
NGN Inc. is looking for an experienced landscape maintenance professional to perform lawn, landscape, and irrigation maintenance for clientele. This is a full time, seasonal position that typically runs from late-March through November depending on weather. The position requires the candidate be able to work both independently and in a team setting to serve clients in a friendly manner to meet their lawn and landscape maintenance needs. Compensation is $20-25 an hour DOE.
Qualifications
-A minimum of 2 years of experience in lawn and landscape care including mowing, edging, pruning, fertilizing, weed trimming, planting; operating, identifying issues with, and repairing irrigation systems is required.
-The candidate is expected to have experience with safely operating landscape machinery and common hand and power tools, such as mowers, weed trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws, as well as maintaining, cleaning, and identifying problems with equipment on a regular basis. This also includes the ability to safely drive a truck while towing a trailer and to load and unload equipment from the trailer.
-Maintain daily records of work completed and materials used.
-Report in a timely manner to supervisor regarding client requests, complaints, or any issues observed on their property.
- Reach out to the supervisor in a timely manner with questions or clarification needed about work performance and tasks.
-Be able to be supervised when needed and receive feedback on quality of work to ensure the standards that our clients expect are being met.
-Communicate with other staff, supervisors, and clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Be detail oriented and maintain a desire to do excellent work.
-Arrive with an open mind and ability to learn new skills and processes.
-Be flexible with changes in the scope of work depending on company and client needs.
-Be dependable, consistent, and able to take care of oneself both on and off the job to perform well in an environment that demands heavy lifting, strenuous work, challenging weather conditions, and daily interpersonal communication with colleagues and clients.
