Job Summary:
As a Packaging Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring products are accurately packaged and labeled in alignment with regulatory requirements. In this fast-paced, team-oriented environment, you'll work collaboratively to meet production targets while upholding the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Package cannabis products according to company and safety guidelines and MED regulatory requirements

Weigh and measure cannabis products accurately before packaging
-
Ensure all packages contain a batch label with accurate and compliant information

Inspect all packaging items for defects, damages, or imperfections before packaging
-
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.

Maintain accurate records of packaged products, including quantities, weights, and any issues encountered during the packaging process.

Operate packaging machinery and equipment with attention to safety, quality and efficiency standards

Maintain a clean, organized and productive work station
-
Maintains cleanliness of the packaging room by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and organizing work areas

Adhere to local and state regulations governing the packaging of cannabis products.

Other duties assigned.
Required Qualifications:
-
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
-
Must hold a valid, or receive, a Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) employee badge
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Previous cannabis experience
-
Previous experience maintaining and operating machinery.
Physical Requirements:
-
Standing for extended periods of time.
-
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs.

Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes or items.

Ability to work in the same area as cannabis and have direct contact with cannabis material

Ability to complete repetitive tasks for the majority of your workday

Ability to safely use and store chemicals including pesticides, fungicides, cleaning agents, and nutrient concentrates following manufacturer’s recommendations and/or SOP’s
Other Requirements:

In person at the production location based on schedule.
