Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our DCM Origination team in New York, a pivotal product group within the Investment Banking Americas division. The DCM team is responsible for the origination and execution of both public and private debt capital markets transactions for a diverse range of clients across the Americas, including investment-grade corporations, financial institutions, sovereign entities, supranational organizations, and agencies.
As a vital member of the DCM team, you will have broad responsibilities, including coverage of Latin American clients. Fluency in Spanish is essential, and you will be expected to collaborate effectively with regional coverage and sector teams, as well as the broader global DCM team.
In this role, you will enhance client engagement strategies, positioning Natixis as a preferred candidate for active bookrunner and lead DCM roles.
- Collaborate closely with Origination (coverage) and Bond Syndicate teams to provide market intelligence and innovative structuring ideas to Natixis clients.
- Drive client marketing initiatives focused on cross-border origination from Latin America.
- Assess investor demand and maintain ongoing communication with key stakeholders.
- Work with Global Markets and Bond Syndicate teams to gather pricing information in secondary markets and support special ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
- Coordinate with the Green Sustainable Hub, Capital Advisory, and Ratings Advisory teams to create value-added content for clients.
- Maintain collaboration with DCM colleagues in Paris, London, Dubai, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Tokyo to stay informed about market developments in non-USD currencies and identify relevant client opportunities.
- Oversee DCM processes, liaising with internal and external parties, including management, general counsel, compliance, risk management, joint underwriters, accountants, and rating agencies.
- Provide information to senior management to support the monitoring of market conditions and trends.
- Participate in the preparation of market commentary, economic updates, and new issuance information, managing resources effectively.
- Create and maintain compelling client presentations, utilizing PowerPoint, Word, and Excel for meetings.
- Collaborate with coverage teams to identify and attract new corporate clients.
- Analyze the financial and operational performance of companies seeking capital-raising solutions, providing insightful recommendations.
The salary range for this position will be between $160,000 - $230,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of debt capital markets, particularly in Latin America, with significant experience in Financial Institutions Group (FIG) clients.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.

Proven ability to produce original, thoughtful content and engaging presentations.
