The Opportunity
As Operations Manager, you'll provide strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of branch operations.
Responsibilities include :
Financial Management : Manage budgets to achieve financial targets, including revenue, direct costs, indirect costs, and administrative expenses. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as route management efficiency, Care Call response times, replacement costs, and total revenue to ensure profitability and identify areas for improvement. Oversee adherence to the operations budget set by Senior Leadership and provide weekly reports to key stakeholders.
Customer Care : Foster strong client relationships, proactively address concerns, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
Team Leadership : Coach, mentor, and motivate a team of plant technicians and installers to achieve success.
Inventory Management : Oversee plant inventory, ensure efficient use of resources, and maintain accurate records.
Natura Holiday Management : Manage seasonal holiday dcor installation, maintenance, and removal within the branch.
Human Resources : Participate in recruiting efforts, conduct performance reviews, and maintain a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in operations management or a similar role
- Proven track record of success in achieving financial goals and exceeding customer expectations
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and travel up to 75% within the assigned geographical area
- Horticulture knowledge is a plus
