Position Summary

The Project Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by coordinating design, planning, and implementation efforts. This position serves as a bridge between project managers, field crews, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, on-schedule, and on-budget results.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers to develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Create, prepare, and modify models for GPS technology used on heavy equipment to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure plans are implemented accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and identify potential issues.
• Assist in the preparation of bids, proposals, and cost estimates.
• Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
• Track and report on project performance metrics, including progress updates, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality and efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Related job experience in construction, paving, or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.
• Proficiency with project management and GPS software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
