What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Natural Gas Solutions North America LLC?
Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will receive orders, requests for quotes, and quote lead times from distributors/customers.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receives and handles order requests from distributors/customers for price quotes, PO order acknowledgments, order adjustments, and order cancellations within our system.
- Builds rapport with both international and domestic sales team.
- Builds rapport with distributors/customers and works to ensure they receive accurate and timely service.
- Uses computer database to retrieve necessary distributor/customer information, inventory information, and purchase order status.
- Work directly with internal scheduler on PO delivery dates based on parts availability and build schedule backlog.
- Maintains files of active orders and updates with changes to distributor/customer accounts or orders.
- As required, confirms credit status of customers with financial/credit department.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain good internal and external customer relations.
- Ability to type 40-50 words per minute.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn ERPLEX database systems.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of experience in customer service role and order processing preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
