Job Summary
We are seeking a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media and conventional advertising strategies to increase our visibility and drive traffic to our store. This role requires a passion for social media, strong communication skills, and the ability to analyze performance metrics to optimize content. The pay for this position is hourly commissions/bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and social media strategies across various platforms to increase visibility.
- Create compelling content including graphics, videos, and written posts that resonate with target markets.
- Manage daily social media activities including posting, responding to comments, and engaging with followers.
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform content creation.
- Collaborate with management and sales team to align marketing and social media campaigns with overall objectives.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities for engagement.
- Utilize analytics tools to track performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Assist in public relations efforts by promoting company news and events through social media channels.
Skills
- Must be energetic and a self starter who can work with little supervision.
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Strong creative and artistic skills with the ability to create visually appealing images for social media posts and local advertising.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to produce high-quality visuals.
- Excellent research skills to stay updated on industry trends and audience interests.
- Strong proofreading abilities to ensure all content is free of errors and aligns with brand voice.
- Knowledge of public relations principles to effectively communicate company messages.
- Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
