We are seeking an experienced Pond & Lake Sales - Customer Service Representative with a background in lake management to join our team. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong sales skills to assist clients in selecting the best solutions for their water bodies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in lake & pond management, be comfortable working with clients to address water quality challenges, and excel at closing sales. Key Responsibilities : Provide technical sales support by recommending appropriate lake management products and services. Educate clients on best practices for lake and pond maintenance , including aeration, nutrient management, and invasive species control. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships , ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction. Identify new business opportunities and work proactively to expand our customer base. Respond to customer inquiries, provide troubleshooting guidance , and offer technical expertise on products and solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and service delivery. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in aquatic management . Interpret water quality data, identify weed and algae species, and prepare water quality reports based on findings. Track performance metrics, and meet / exceed sales targets. Qualifications : Prior experience in lake management Prior experience in technical sales or customer service within the environmental, water treatment, or aquatic industries. Strong knowledge of aeration systems, water quality treatment, aquatic plant management, and erosion control . Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms. Self-motivated with a passion for helping clients find solutions to their lake and pond management needs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales tracking tools. Salary commensurate with skills and experience.
