Customer Service

Ideal candidates will have a willingness to help people, strong verbal skills and a pleasant phone manner. This position requires a mature attitude and is able to accept responsibility, follow directions, and adjust to a variety of situations.

Purchasing Director

Core Responsibilities

• Assist in the day to day order entry and customer inquiries.
• Ensure that all orders are confirmed daily with vendors and customers.
• Update purchasing how-to manuals.
• Responsible to ensure pricing is updated as needed in both internal database and website.
• Track location’s reports and update in-house personnel. Alert franchisees of “on – hold” status when reports are late.
• Perform regular, seasonal, and/or annual purchasing analytics and evaluations pertaining to products and material usage, tracking, and budgeting.
• Work with regional managers to ensure proper purchasing procedures are adhered to by franchisees.
• Monitor franchise vendor accounts.
• Reconcile vendor reports to internal database.
• Prepare seasonal memos to franchisees in terms of product availability, market update and price changes.
• Maintain vendor relationships.
• Follow all applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide an array of supply chain management support to include planning, sourcing, producing, purchasing, shipping, and receiving as listed below.
  • Research, evaluate, and identify suppliers.
  • Review analyze price proposals, financial reports and other related data.
  • Ensure the purchasing of high-quality materials at a reasonable price and correct quantities.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate up to date records and inventories.

Education

• Minimum of a high school graduate with at least 3 years applicable experience.

Experience

• Must be a citizen or legal to work within the United States.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with vendors and customers.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Must be able to analyze data.
• Knowledge of MS Office software.
• QuickBooks knowledge helpful, not a requirement.
• Must be willing to participate in periodic drug screening.
• Pre-employment drug screening is mandatory.
