Job Description : Kitchen Staff (Prepared Foods)
As a Kitchen Staff (Cook) at Naturals2Go Plus - Savannah, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality fresh food products to be distributed through our vending machines and micro markets. You will work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations and maintain the highest standards of food quality and safety.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and cook a variety of fresh food items according to standardized recipes and portion sizes.
- Ensure food products are prepared, stored, and handled safely and in compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen work areas, including equipment, utensils, and food storage areas
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring ingredient levels, rotating stock, and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with the kitchen supervisor and other team members to develop new menu items and recipes.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handwashing, temperature control, and hygiene practices.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper lifting techniques.
- Assist with other kitchen tasks and duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or management.
