Job Overview: We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Teacher to join our professional, caring, and positive environment in South Austin. This role is perfect for individuals looking to work from approximately 12 pm to 5 pm.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Passion for Early Education: Share our enthusiasm for early childhood development and have a genuine love for children.
- Essential Skills: Proficiency in toilet training, diaper changing, and related childcare skills.
- Create an Engaging Environment: Ability to maintain an organized, clean, fun, and interactive learning space.
- Connection to Nature: Be driven and compassionate, with a natural affinity for outdoor activities.
- Physical Capability: Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Encourage Creativity: Foster creativity, exploration, and decision-making among the children.
- Classroom Management: Experienced in organizing, maintaining, and keeping the classroom clean during and after activities.
- Positive Attitude: Approach every situation with energy, positivity, responsibility, flexibility, punctuality, respect, and professionalism.
- Childcare Experience: Prior experience in a licensed childcare facility is preferred.
- Educational Approaches: Familiarity with STEAM, Waldorf, Reggio, or Montessori methods is a valuable advantage.
- Additional Interests: Interests in Gardening, Nature, Dancing, and Yoga are also considered a plus.
