What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Teacher position at Nature's Schoolhouse Network, LLC?
We need an educator to lead our 7-8-year-olds on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12:00-2:30. (If you are only available Tu/Thursday, we can make that work.)
We also need an assistant educator with our 9-12-year-olds on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:45-12:30/1:00.
```Duties:```
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and curriculum development.
- Provide care and supervision to children in a classroom and nature setting.
- Support the lead teacher in creating a safe and nurturing environment for toddlers.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtime, naptime, and toileting.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development.
- Foster a love for learning through play, storytelling, and interactive experiences.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom or daycare space.
```Requirements:```
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Familiarity with childhood development milestones and literacy education.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
