What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Program Facilitator position at Natures Way Early Learning?
We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and dedicated Pre-K Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and be responsible for creating a nurturing, stimulating, and safe classroom environment. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities, fostering social-emotional development, and encouraging cognitive growth in young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development: Design and implement a dynamic, developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with state standards and supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of young children.
- Instruction: Provide engaging lessons that promote literacy, numeracy, social skills, and motor skills through play-based and hands-on learning experiences.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and structured classroom environment that encourages respect, cooperation, and self-regulation.
- Assessment: Observe, assess, and document each child's progress, development, and behavior on a regular basis.
- Parent Communication: Regularly communicate with parents through conferences, progress reports, and daily updates to keep them informed about their child’s development and classroom activities.
- Safety & Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom, playground, and other school areas.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, support staff, and administration to provide the best learning experience for children.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest educational research, early childhood practices, and attend professional development opportunities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
